Household growth from 2000 to 2005 in Stark County was steady, but slow: 157,266 units grew to 162,337, about 3.2 percent growth over the five years. As a point of comparison, Lancaster County, Pa., grew to 190,000 households from 180,000 households in the same period, about 5.5 percent growth.
