"We are all Hokies today"

There is a mighty blog circle on the theme "We are all hokies." Some examples:
The Redstater: Today, we stand vigilant with the students at Virginia Tech. The games will return another day. The cheer of the crowd urging on the two competing teams will be a great sound to all. But today, as Doug puts so well, we are all Hokies."
Fulmer's Belly: "We stand together today, as the Unified Hokie Nation.  Not a nation of separate entities, but as a single entity that will not tolerate nor condone the actions of those intent on destroying what we hold dear."
The Nex Big Thing: "Showing support to the families and friends of the victims at VT is of the utmost importance. Wear your hokie colors today (Tuesday), show your support. Orange and Maroon. Today, we are all Hokies."
The New Conservative: "My heart goes out to all the students injured in the senseless massacre today. My prayers are with the families and friends of those lost."
Tarheel Poet's Almost Honest:  This is the tim e where we put aside our "college rivalries" and embrace the knowledge that today, we are all Hokies.

A Rutgers student, JustAnotherDreamer: "Today we are all Hokies."

TisOnlyAaron:Every once in a while, a bad person is going to do something bad. We can only do our best to minimise the damage wrought.
