When a movie promotion mirrors real life and includes a mock anti-defamation group, will everyone know the group's true purpose? A writer at Salon dot com, Carina Chocano, seems to have been oblivious to the deeper meaning of the campaign. Andrea Billups at something called News World Communications told the story with a straight face, too. These pieces were written years ago, but Google keeps the prose fresh. In the end, who is showing a blonde side and who is true to her roots? Just asking. Where is the Blonde Legal Defense Club when you need it?

Will blondes become extinct? The World Health Organization stressses it has not studied this: "WHO has no knowledge of how these news reports originated but would like to stress that we have no opinion on the future existence of blondes." Hat tip to John Hawks.
