There's at least one prominent fan in the White House for "So You Think You Can Dance." President Obama put out the word on Saturday in Minnesota as he started his health care speech. The fan: First Lady Michelle Obama.
In the President's words:
You know, I don't know if any of you caught it on television -- you may have been watching "So You Think You Can Dance" -- (laughter) -- but -- Michelle loves that show, by the way. But the other night I gave a speech to Congress about health care
OK, making health care affordable while sustaining high quality may be important. "So You Think You Can Dance" -- we know how important that is.
Yes, President Obama is serious about Michelle as a fan. As Faded Youth noted, the President made the point on Friday, too, in another health care address to a group of nurses.
As long as he's home next Wednesday night for the next dance show, everything will be good at home.
