I have a texting Idol playdate with a pal in Philly and one in Connecticut. We share our views and brilliant insights with each other. Then we hear what the judges have to say and scoff if they don't agree with us. The judges' comments are so predictable by now. If I am being perfectly honest, wrong song choice, too Karakoe, a lounge act, just not feeling it, man. Pitchy. It's not you, its me. We are starting to miss Simon Cowell to come clean up this mess. He wouldn't put up with all the judge gushing. Seriously, pitchy all through but hitting a great final note does not an Idol made. And there was lots of that on 12 Gal show.
...Girls night felt like a Ms. USA pagent. Pretty girls with fresh coiffed hair, uncomfortable new outfits. And women, take a tip from the guys when it comes to super high heels. Your choices are don't wear them, wear them but sing from a barstool, or learn to walk without looking like you are putting more effort into singing than walking!
